Characteristics:

FZC guard catalyst series includes FZC-10X series and a whole other series. The latter series is used for up-flow type resid hydroprocessing reactors, and includes following guard catalysts: FZC-102K, FZC-102N, FZC-10UH, FZC-11UHT, FZC-1MN, and FZC-2MN.

FZC guard catalyst series is high in pore volume and pore diameters, and low in acidity. The guard catalyst series is used to remove catalyst poisons including Ni, V, Fe, Ca, Na, has high capacity for accommodating metals, and can be used to protect downstream main catalysts, reduce catalyst bed pressure drop, and prolong unit operation period.
